“traveling through to Boggabri, I stopped in at the commercial for dinner. The pub was clean and tidy and had a friendly bar and wait staff, plenty of seating options inside and outside, and TAB facilities. Their menu was great and had lots of options and was very well priced. I ordered chicken parmigiana and it was out within 20 minutes. The parmigiana, mushroom sauce and mash potato are all house-made. it was delicious. Best parmigiana I’ve ever eaten. If you’re looking for a quality meal I highly recommend the commercial hotel in curlews!”

“Stayed at the Commerical Hotel on our way north. Erin and Matt are so friendly, they really go out of their way to make you feel welcome at the Commercial. My room was set up with a porta-cot, even though I was traveling on my own. This was a nice touch as it meant not having to carry mine up from the car after a long drive. Although I didn’t eat at the Commercial this time, the food smelt amazing and I will be sure to eat there on our next trip through. The Commerical was slightly off the track as I was actually passing through Gunnedah, but the great value rooms were worth the extra little drive. The Commercial is nothing fancy, a typical old pub with spacious and clean shared bathrooms, with everything you could need. The heating was really great as were the electric blankets. Also, a good little tea and coffee area upstairs to make a cuppa in the mornings. Thanks, Erin and Matt- see you again!”
